Escape Animals is a fast-paced survival game from ozgames.io that I didn’t expect to enjoy as much as I do—it’s surprisingly addictive. The concept is pretty straightforward: you run through different areas trying to stay ahead of rising lava and freezing hazards, all while collecting animals along the way. What really hooked me, though, is that these animals aren’t just for show. Once you bring them back to your base, they start generating money automatically, which you can then use to upgrade both your character and your base. That loop of risk and reward kept pulling me back in.

Collect animals and bring them back to your base

When I first started playing, my base was empty, and honestly, it felt a bit overwhelming. I didn’t really know where to begin. After a few failed runs, I figured out that taking it slow at the start works best—just stick to nearby animals and bring them back safely instead of pushing too far too soon. Your character moves pretty slowly in the beginning, so being patient actually makes a huge difference.

Lava and Ice: avoid them at all costs

This is where the game gets intense—in a good way. If you touch lava or ice, you’re instantly sent back to your base and lose everything you were carrying. I’ve had plenty of frustrating moments because I got greedy and tried to grab “just one more” animal. Now I play a lot more carefully. I keep a close eye on what’s happening around me, and sometimes I’ll even stop and wait for a safer moment instead of risking it all. It’s one of those games where playing smart matters just as much as moving fast.

Collect money and upgrade your abilities

Once your animals start generating income, things feel much more rewarding. I like checking back at the base, collecting the money, and investing it into upgrades. Speed upgrades are especially important—it makes a huge difference when you’re trying to reach farther zones with rarer animals.

Expand your base and use Rebirth wisely

As you collect more animals, your base slowly fills up, and you can really see your progress. One of the most interesting mechanics, in my opinion, is the rebirth system. It resets your progress, which sounds harsh, but the permanent bonuses you get—like better income or extra slots—make future runs much smoother. Timing your rebirth is key, and figuring that out was part of the fun for me.
