Krillion.io is a browser-based daily casual game that challenges you to find correct answers that are less obvious than what most people would think of first. As opposed to the ordinary quizzes that require you to select from a range of options, it allows you to write your own answers.

How to Play?

Read the category carefully

Identify exactly what the question asks for. Look for restrictions such as a location, category, or specific type of answer.

Type a valid, uncommon answer

You generally have 25 seconds. Think beyond the obvious, enter one clear answer, and submit it before time expires.

Review your score

Each accepted answer earns a rarity tier. Complete all seven prompts and review your total depth score. The maximum daily score is 700 points.

Controls

Keyboard (A–Z): Type your answer in English.

Enter: Submit your answer, if supported by the current game screen.

Mouse or touch: Start the game, select buttons, and navigate results.

Ticking clock: Shows the moments to answer.

Let's suppose you were asked to name a city in California. Your first thought might be the city of Los Angeles, but what if there is a much less-known city that corresponds to the higher rarity tier?

The machine rewards inquisitiveness, broad knowledge, fast thinking, and the ability to think beyond the most obvious solution.

Tips to Win

Think of your second answer, not just your first

Your first thought is often the most familiar answer. Generate a couple of alternatives and consider which is both correct and less predictable.

Accuracy comes before rarity

Never choose a strange answer just because it sounds obscure. A rare answer that doesn't fit the prompt won't help your score.

Be specific in the examples chosen

When it comes to the Geography category, think of smaller nations, locales, or places on the map. Keys to Books and Movies could refer to some of the distinct figures in the books and films. Specific examples can be more promising than famous ones.

Use a simple time strategy

Spend the first few seconds understanding the prompt, the next few generating alternatives, and the remaining time selecting and entering your best answer. Don't waste the entire round searching for perfection.

Learn from the previous answers

Take note of the uniqueness level given for each valid answer. With time, you will be able to assess the game scoring system better.

Do not mix up creativity with originality

While you may think that an answer is very original, it could still be an obvious one for another trivia player. Keep looking for real alternatives instead of using an unusual answer.
