LIft Off

Lift Off is an incredibly fun rocket-launching game released by ozgames.io, where the player's goal is to launch a rocket as far into the sky as possible. To achieve a high score, you need to be truly skillful. I'm really looking forward to seeing your performance.

How to Play?

Use the left mouse button or the Space key to launch the rocket.

Once the rocket has taken off, you can use your mouse to control its flight path in any direction you want, as long as it can fly as far as possible.

Quick Tip for Beginners:

Watch the stage indicator and tap it when it's nearly full — that's usually the ideal time to reach maximum thrust.

Timing Mechanism (Key Skill)

Timing determines success.

Too early:

Launching a rocket too early, when the stage separates before reaching maximum thrust, will reduce the rocket's launch power and prevent it from flying far.

Perfect timing:

When you time the launch to reach maximum thrust, the rocket will accelerate and fly higher.

Too late:

When the rocket stage explodes, it's too late to launch, and the mission fails immediately.
So the strategy is to detach the stage as late as possible without letting it explode.

Rocket Upgrades and Launch Progress

Each altitude will correspond to a certain number of coins you earn.

Coins can be used to:

Add rocket stages to increase the rocket's range.

Unlock new rocket skins, allowing you to experience more types of rockets.

Upgrade rockets for better performance: this will improve launch efficiency.

Space Exploration Goals

Beyond just altitude, the game introduces bigger objectives:

Colonize Mars

Requirements:

9 rocket stages

50 astronauts

Travel farther

Eventually, you can reach Europa, a moon of Jupiter.

This adds a light space-exploration progression system to the game.
