Fish Quest is one of those games that instantly pulls you in. It’s an intense first-person mix of fishing and combat, where strategy, quick reflexes, and chaotic underwater encounters all come together. Developed by Ozgames.io, it drops you straight into the depths of the ocean, and honestly, every encounter feels a little unpredictable—in a good way.

Skill-Based Combat System

This definitely isn’t a laid-back fishing game. From my experience, every fight feels like a real battle, especially when you’re up against larger sea creatures. You’ve got to keep a close eye on your line tension, react fast when the fish starts thrashing, and stay locked in the whole time. If you lose focus for even a second, you’ll feel it.

Immersive First-Person Gameplay

The first-person perspective really makes a difference here. It puts you right in the middle of everything, and I found that it made each moment feel more intense. The movement of the rod, the waves, even the way the water shifts around you—it all adds to that sense of realism. It’s surprisingly easy to get caught up in it.

Challenging but Addictive

What kept me coming back was the constant pressure during each encounter. There’s always that tension, especially when you’re close to landing a catch. It can get frustrating at times, but not in a bad way—it’s the kind of challenge that pushes you to try again. And when you finally succeed, it feels genuinely rewarding.

Basic Controls

Mouse Movement — Aim the rod and control your view.

Left Click — Cast your line and interact during fights.

Hold and Release — Carefully manage line tension during battles.

W, A, S, D — Move around in certain parts of the game.

Best Played on PC

Personally, I think the game plays best on PC. Everything feels smoother, and the controls are way more precise with a mouse. The bigger screen also helps bring out the details in the underwater environment. If you want the full experience, PC is definitely the way to go.
