Mine: Attack Of The Hole
Meowdoku is part Sudoku, part logic grid, and 100% charming. It is a cat-themed brain game that swaps tedious math for clever feline placement. It takes less than a minute to learn the basics, but don't let the cute theme fool you—the later levels pack a serious mental punch.

The beauty of Meowdoku lies in its simplicity. The board is made up of a square grid divided into distinct, colorful territories. Your only job is to place cats on the board while following four strict rules:
1 Cat Per Row: Every horizontal line across the board needs exactly one cat. Once a cat claims a row, the rest of those spaces are off-limits.
1 Cat Per Column: Every vertical line down the board needs exactly one cat.
1 Cat Per Color Region: The board is divided into custom-shaped colored zones. No matter how weirdly shaped a region is, it gets exactly one cat.
The Diagonal Twist (No Touching!): This is the rule that gives Meowdoku its real bite. Cats cannot touch diagonally. Even if they are in completely different rows, columns, or color regions, two cats can never sit kitty-corner to one another.
Most successful players rely heavily on the "X" markers. Think of X markers as your external memory system. Every time you place a cat, immediately block out the impossible squares around it. It keeps you from re-checking the same dead ends over and over, leaving your brain free to focus on the actual strategy.
When you first start, you might be tempted to just tap random squares and guess. Resist the urge! Meowdoku is a game of pure deduction. If you get stuck on a tricky grid, use these five proven strategies to unlock the solution.
Always start with the easiest wins. Scan the board for any color region, row, or column that only has one open square left. If there is only one choice, that is a forced cat. Place it immediately, run your cleanup, and see what else opens up.
Every single cat you place triggers a massive chain reaction. The moment a cat lands on the grid, immediately eliminate the rest of its row, its column, its color region, and its four diagonal corners. This basic housekeeping almost always forces the next move open.
Sometimes you won't know exactly where a cat goes, but you will know where it has to go. For example, if all the available squares for a specific green region happen to sit inside the same row, you know that row's cat must come from that region. That means you can safely eliminate all other squares in that row outside of the green region.
Turn the locked region strategy on its head. If the only open spaces left in a specific row all belong to the same color zone, then that region’s cat is guaranteed to live in that row. You can instantly clear out any other open options for that color region elsewhere on the board.
On the massive, hard-mode grids, looking at one square at a time will get you stuck. Instead, zoom out. Look at two or three rows or columns simultaneously. Are there three specific regions trapped inside a tight bottleneck of three columns? When you start reading the entire grid as a connected ecosystem, even the hardest levels start to crumble.
One of the best things about Meowdoku is its incredible depth. The game currently features over 15,000 cat-themed puzzle levels, with developers consistently working on future updates to add even more.
The game uses a smooth, gradual difficulty curve. You will start on small, cozy grids to master the logic. Before you know it, you will graduate to massive, winding, multi-colored battlegrounds that challenge your spatial awareness and deductive reasoning.
Meowdoku hits the perfect sweet spot for mobile puzzling. It strips away the anxiety of timers and the clinical feel of traditional number Sudoku, replacing them with a satisfying, clean logic loop: read the board, eliminate the noise, find the forced move, and repeat.
