Garfield War is a game released by ozgames.io. The game is fast-paced, somewhat chaotic, and genuinely fun. You play as Garfield, and your sole mission is to defend your refrigerator from an invasion of bizarre alien foods. Yes, it sounds ridiculous – but that's the game's appeal. Enemies always attack from the right, so you must always be vigilant and do everything you can to prevent them from invading your kitchen and stealing your food.

Garfield can handle himself to a certain extent—he automatically attacks anything that gets too close. But pretty quickly, you realize he can’t do it alone. That’s when you start bringing in backup like Sheldon, Odie, and other familiar faces. Each character has their own strengths, which makes choosing who to deploy actually matter. I found myself experimenting a lot to see what worked best. You don’t get everyone right away, either, which keeps things interesting as you unlock new allies over time.
Popcorn is basically your lifeline in this game. It’s what you use to summon allies, and it slowly builds up on its own. Now and then, you’ll spot golden popcorn popping up randomly, and grabbing those gives you a nice boost. I learned pretty quickly that managing popcorn well can make or break a level.
Each level throws waves of food enemies at you, and your goal is simple: survive and wipe them out. Once you drain the enemy bar, you’re good to go. Some waves can get pretty intense, so using power-ups at the right moment really helps. There were definitely times when a well-timed boost saved Garfield from getting completely overwhelmed.
As you progress, the game doesn’t hold back. The enemies get stronger, the waves get crazier, and you actually have to think more about your strategy. The good news is you also unlock better allies and stronger power-ups along the way, which makes those later levels feel challenging but still fair.
